# monday.com plugin

> monday.com's own plugin for Claude: manage items, set up boards, write docs and forms, and get project status reports from your account.

monday.com's own plugin for Claude Cowork. It bundles monday.com's hosted MCP server with five skills that teach your agent how monday.com works, so it can manage your boards, items, docs and forms across work management, CRM, dev, service and campaigns. Each skill turns on by itself when your request matches it.

What its skills cover
- Task management: create, update, assign and comment on items on any board, with column values formatted correctly
- Project status reports: overdue items, blockers, workload and recent activity across one or more boards
- Board setup: new boards with the right column types, groups and starting items for your use case
- Docs: read, draft and update monday docs, with live board embeds and mentions
- Forms: build WorkForms for intake, where each response lands as a new item on a board

How it connects
- It connects to monday.com's hosted MCP server at https://mcp.monday.com/mcp.
- The first time a skill needs monday.com, you sign in with OAuth and approve the access. There's no API token to set up, and it can only reach what your monday.com role allows.

Good to know
- It works on every monday.com plan, though some features depend on the plan: on Free and Basic, status reports cover one board and docs are capped at three; formula columns and removing form branding need Pro or above.
- It's built for Claude Cowork. monday.com's MCP server is also listed on its own, as monday.com MCP.
