# Mobilerun

> Lets your agent control phones on Mobilerun Cloud: read the screen, tap and type, run multi-step tasks and build automated flows.

Mobilerun's hosted MCP server connects your agent to Mobilerun Cloud, Droidrun's service that gives AI agents real phones: hosted Android phones, dedicated iPhones or your own devices. Your agent can look at a phone's screen, work its apps, hand whole tasks to Mobilerun's own agent and set up flows that run on a schedule or a trigger.

What you can do with it
- List your devices, start new cloud phones and shut them down
- Take screenshots and read a device's UI state, then tap, swipe and type
- Install and manage apps, and change device files, settings and eSIMs
- Run agent tasks on a device, follow their progress, message them and stop them
- Build workflows from actions, triggers and flows, and manage webhooks
- Work with stored credentials, phone numbers and SMS, mailboxes and proxies
- Chat with the Mobilerun Assistant and answer its questions and approval requests

How it connects
The install steps here use Mobilerun's API-key address, https://api.mobilerun.ai/v1/mcp, with an Authorization: Bearer header holding a Mobilerun API key (dr_sk_...) that you create in Mobilerun Cloud. To sign in with your Mobilerun account instead, connect to https://cloud.mobilerun.ai/api/mcp, and your agent opens a browser sign-in the first time. Mobilerun documents setup for Claude, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor and VS Code.

Good to know
- Some tools cost money: new devices, proxy purchases and work the assistant does are charged to the account behind the key or sign-in.
- The assistant acts with your account's full authority, so only approve its requests when you mean to.
- Which tools you get depends on your account's permissions.
- The MCP server is open source (droidrun/mobilerun-mcp) and can be self-hosted.
