# MD Atlas

> Lets your agent search MD Atlas's medical-device data: companies, devices, certificates, documents and Basic UDI-DIs.

MD Atlas's own MCP server. MD Atlas is a market-intelligence service for the medical-device industry that brings together official data, such as the EU's EUDAMED records, on manufacturers, devices, certificates and notified bodies. Its MCP server lets your agent search that data in plain language and answer with records you can check.

What you can do with it
- Search companies by name or keyword, or open one by its SRN
- List a company's certificates, the people linked to it (names and roles), and related records such as its notified body and authorised representatives
- Search devices by trade name, reference or Basic UDI-DI, and open a device's full record
- Check a certificate's status, validity and notified body
- Look up a Basic UDI-DI and its variants
- Search documents by title, reference or manufacturer

MD Atlas documents it for market research, competitive monitoring, regulatory research, supplier analysis, due diligence, prospecting and comparing manufacturers or devices.

How it connects
MD Atlas hosts it at https://mcp.md-atlas.com/mcp. Add it as a custom connector, then sign in with your MD Atlas account and allow access; there's no API key to manage. Every tool is read-only. To stop, remove the connector.

Good to know
- Each tool call uses 0.36 to 1.8 MD Atlas credits, depending on the tool. A new account starts with 100 free credits, a search that finds nothing is free the first time each day, and server errors aren't charged. You top up on MD Atlas's pricing page.
- It's regulatory and market data about medical devices and the companies behind them. It doesn't list doctors or treatments, and its answers aren't medical advice.
