# Zenvia MCP (CodeSpar)

> A community MCP server that lets your agent send SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email and voice messages from your Zenvia account.

Zenvia MCP (CodeSpar) is a local MCP server for Zenvia, the Brazilian customer-communication platform. It's made by CodeSpar, a third party that publishes open-source MCP servers for Latin American services; Zenvia doesn't make or support it. The server calls Zenvia's API with your own API token, so your agent can send messages from the senders and channels set up on your Zenvia account.

What you can do with it
- Send SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email, voice (text-to-speech or a recorded audio file) and Facebook Messenger messages (send_sms, send_whatsapp, send_rcs, send_email, send_voice, send_facebook_message).
- Send a pre-approved WhatsApp template with its variables, and list your approved templates (send_template, list_templates).
- Create, list and delete webhook subscriptions for incoming messages and status updates (create_subscription, list_subscriptions, delete_subscription).
- List and delete contacts in your Zenvia contact base (list_contacts, delete_contact).

How it connects
It runs on your computer with npx -y @codespar/mcp-zenvia and reads your token from the ZENVIA_API_TOKEN environment variable. You get the token from the Zenvia dashboard (app.zenvia.com). CodeSpar's docs show setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code.

Good to know
- It's MIT-licensed and calls Zenvia directly; nothing goes through CodeSpar's own servers.
- Zenvia offers a sandbox in its dashboard for testing messages before you send to real customers.
- Five of its tools (get_message_status, list_channels, get_report_entries, add_opt_out and create_contact) call addresses or send fields that don't match Zenvia's current API reference, so expect errors from them.
- It's a community project by CodeSpar, not an official Zenvia product.
