# IrisAgent Support Analyst

> Ask IrisAgent's Support Analyst about your support tickets, chats, agents and AI answer quality, and get answers that cite tickets.

IrisAgent's own MCP server for its Support Analyst. IrisAgent is an AI support platform that works on top of helpdesks such as Zendesk and Salesforce. Connect your agent and ask about your support data without opening the IrisAgent portal: answers come from the tickets, chats and knowledge IrisAgent has already ingested for your account, and cite the tickets they used.

What you can do with it
- Ask about ticket volume and trends, and what's driving them
- Summarize a ticket and check whether the AI's answer on it was correct
- See what your team told a customer about an issue
- Compare your support agents, for example by first response time
- Find Jira issues linked to customer complaints
- Get the weekly support briefing: AI deflection, escalations, knowledge gaps, AutoQA results and new or trending ticket categories
- List the saved Support Analyst questions your team has set up
- Ask follow-up questions that keep the context, or focus a question on one ticket

How it connects
IrisAgent hosts it at https://mcp.irisagent.com/mcp. Agents that support sign-in send you to IrisAgent to sign in. Otherwise, an IrisAgent admin generates an MCP API key under Deploy > AI Assistants (MCP), and you send it in an "Authorization: Bearer" header. IrisAgent's setup guide uses https://api1.irisagent.com/mcp, which reaches the same server.

Good to know
- Read only: it can search, count, summarize and audit, and draft knowledge articles or procedures for you to review. It can't change tickets, send replies or publish anything.
- You need an IrisAgent account with a connected ticketing system.
- Answers, including quoted ticket text, go to the provider of the agent you use.
- Each organization can ask up to 20 questions a minute, with up to four running at once.
