# Himalayas Remote Jobs

> Search remote jobs, check salaries and track applications from your agent, or post a job and find candidates on Himalayas.

Himalayas Remote Jobs is Himalayas' own hosted MCP server. It connects your agent to the Himalayas remote jobs marketplace in real time, for both sides of hiring: job seekers can search remote jobs, check salary data, tailor a resume and track their applications, and employers can post jobs, search candidates and message them.

What you can do with it
- Search remote jobs by title, skill or keyword, filtered by the countries a job is open to, seniority, employment type, salary, benefits and companies
- Look up salary benchmarks by job title, seniority and country, and remote work statistics
- Browse remote-friendly companies, with their tech stack, benefits and open jobs
- See new jobs that match your Himalayas profile since you last checked
- Get a resume and cover letter tailored to a job, then the employer's apply link
- Track applications from saved to applied, interviewing, offer and hired, and reply to recruiters in your inbox
- Update your profile, or fill it in from your LinkedIn profile or resume
- For employers: post a remote job (free, and reviewed before it goes live), see how your postings perform, search candidates and message them

How it connects
- Himalayas hosts it at https://mcp.himalayas.app/mcp. There's no API key.
- Job search, companies and salary data work as soon as you connect. The first time you use a tool that needs an account, your agent opens a Himalayas sign-in page (OAuth).
- Himalayas' setup guide covers Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and more.

Good to know
- Account tools need a free Himalayas account. Employer tools need an account linked to a company, and talent search needs you to be signed in.
- Some features are part of Himalayas Plus, its paid plan: tailored resumes and cover letters for every job (a free account gets one of each), new job matches between sessions and spoken mock interviews. Applying through Himalayas is free.
- Paid job extras, and posting a job without an account, return a Stripe checkout link that you open and pay yourself. The server never charges you.
- Messages to candidates and replies to recruiters go out as you, so check the text before your agent sends it.
