# HasData Walmart

> Search Walmart, read product pages with the buy-box seller and pull customer reviews from walmart.com and walmart.ca, as JSON.

HasData's MCP server for Walmart data. It scrapes public Walmart pages, the ones a signed-out visitor can see, on walmart.com and walmart.ca, and gives your agent search results, product details and customer reviews as structured JSON. HasData is an independent scraping service, not affiliated with Walmart, and Walmart's terms apply to how you use what it collects.

What you can do with it
- Search Walmart by keyword or category, with price, delivery, brand and sort filters
- Read one item in full: price, availability, specifications and the seller holding the buy box
- See the other sellers offering an item and what they charge, with shipping
- Page through an item's reviews, filtered by star rating, topic or verified purchases
- Compare an item's price on walmart.com and walmart.ca

How it connects
HasData hosts it at https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp?apis=walmart. Send your HasData API key in the x-api-key header, or, in agents that support OAuth, add the address and sign in with your HasData account. For agents that only run local servers, HasData publishes a small launcher (npx -y @hasdata/walmart-mcp, or uvx hasdata-walmart-mcp) that connects to the same hosted server with HASDATA_API_KEY set. You don't need a Walmart account.

Good to know
- Its tools only read: nothing is bought or changed on Walmart.
- Each successful call uses HasData credits (10 a call, 15 when you ask for other sellers' offers). HasData's free plan includes a monthly allowance.
- Results come from one Walmart store, which the response names, so prices and pickup availability can differ elsewhere.
- Walmart stops serving search results after about page 10, so narrow big searches with filters.
- Reviews carry reviewer names as published; HasData suggests dropping them unless you need them.
- You're responsible for using the results in line with Walmart's terms and the law that applies to you.
