# GoodWatch

> Lets your agent pick what to watch from your taste and streaming services, log episodes, rate titles and keep your Wishlist.

GoodWatch's own MCP server. GoodWatch is a free site for finding movies and TV shows, with every score and every streaming service in one place and a taste match for each title. Connected to your free GoodWatch account, your agent picks what to watch next from your taste and your streaming services, and keeps your library up to date when you tell it what you watched.

What you can do with it
- Ask what to watch tonight: the next episode of a show you're watching, or a Wishlist pick on your services
- Search titles by name or by description ("something like Arrival but lighter"), ranked by how well they fit you
- Browse the way GoodWatch Discover does, with the same filters
- Find where a title streams in your country, with its cast, scores, trailer and similar titles
- Look up a director's or actor's films, with your match for each
- Log what you watched (an episode, a season or many titles at once), rate titles and undo a log
- Add titles to your Wishlist, mark them Not interested, or set a show to Watching, On hold or Dropped
- Read your taste profile back, make share lists, and change your country, title language and streaming services

How it connects
GoodWatch hosts it at https://goodwatch.app/mcp. Add it as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or as a remote MCP server in other agents; GoodWatch's setup page has steps for each. The first time, GoodWatch opens in your browser: sign in and press Allow. Your agent never sees your password.

Good to know
- It needs a free GoodWatch account; the server is free too.
- It can't see your email address or password, change your password or delete your account.
- Searching by description works 20 times a day; finding a title by name has no daily limit.
- In agents that support MCP Apps, answers can include poster cards.
- Disconnect any time from Connected apps in your GoodWatch settings.

In ChatGPT on the web: Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server, then paste https://goodwatch.app/mcp under Connection. Business and Enterprise plans; Pro can add read-only servers.

### Claude

In Claude (web or desktop): Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://goodwatch.app/mcp

### Muse

In Muse: In a Muse chat, ask it to create a custom connector for the MCP server at https://goodwatch.app/mcp. Then tap Connect on the card it shows and sign in, or add your key.

### Grok Bot

In Grok Bot: In a chat with your Bot, say "Add this MCP server: https://goodwatch.app/mcp". It confirms the details with you and sets it up, and the tools are ready from your next message.
