# Fullstory

> Fullstory's MCP server and skills: query behavioral analytics, find where users struggle and review the session replays behind the numbers.

Fullstory's own plugin. It connects your agent to the Fullstory MCP server, so it can query your behavioral analytics and session replays, and adds Fullstory's skills for doing that analysis well: build the right segment or metric, check the numbers, then read the sessions behind them.

What its skills do
- General analysis: answer how many, what share, which pages, where users drop off and what they did before or after an action, by building a segment or metric, computing it, validating it and investigating sessions
- Comparisons: pick the right way to compare A with B (event or session properties versus separate user segments) so the numbers come out right
- Friction analysis: rank frustration and error signals on a page or flow, tell real problems from buttons people are meant to click repeatedly, and count the users each one affects
- Session review: diagnose a reported issue, investigate a bug or check that a UI behaves correctly, starting from a session URL
- Idea generation: find three to five product ideas the team hasn't considered, each with a user count against a baseline and replay links as evidence
A session-context agent reads each session's events in its own context, so long transcripts don't fill your conversation.

How it connects
The plugin adds Fullstory's hosted MCP server (https://api.fullstory.com/mcp/fullstory). After installing, run /mcp and sign in to Fullstory. An admin has to have StoryAI features turned on for your org (Settings > StoryAI Features); without them the server connects but shows no tools.

How to install it
Fullstory's own steps for Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add fullstorydev/fullstory-skills, then /plugin install fullstory@fullstory and /reload-plugins. The same repository also installs as a Gemini CLI extension and a Cursor plugin.

Good to know
- Fullstory MCP is in beta for existing Fullstory customers.
- Metrics, segments and funnels it builds are unsaved drafts; there's no tool to save them, so save the ones you want in Fullstory.
- For Claude.ai and the Claude app, use Fullstory's connector in Claude's connector directory instead.
- Subtext, Fullstory's session replay built for agents, is a separate product with its own listing.
