# ElevenLabs MCP

> Lets your agent build and manage your ElevenLabs voice agents, and generate speech, music, images and video in your workspace.

ElevenLabs' own hosted MCP server. It connects your ElevenLabs workspace to your agent, so you can build and run voice and chat agents and create audio and visual media by asking in plain language.

What you can do with it
- Create a voice or chat agent by describing it, then update its system prompt, voice, language and first message
- List your agents and compare their configurations, or duplicate and delete them
- Review recent conversations, read full transcripts and search across them
- Manage an agent's knowledge base documents, tools, procedures and MCP servers
- Create, run and review tests, and work with branches, drafts and deployments
- Estimate an agent's LLM usage and cost before you change it
- Get an agent's widget configuration and shareable link
- Generate speech, music, images and video, and transcribe audio

How it connects
ElevenLabs hosts it at https://api.elevenlabs.io/v1/mcp. Its registry entry uses https://api.us.elevenlabs.io/v1/mcp, which is the same server. There's nothing to install and no API key: you sign in with your ElevenLabs account through OAuth, choose a workspace and approve the permissions it asks for, and you can revoke access at any time. Workspaces in an isolated data residency environment (EU, India or Singapore) use their region's address instead and sign in with that environment's account.

Good to know
- You decide what it can do when you connect, from read-only monitoring to full agent management. Clients such as Claude also let you turn off individual tools or ask before each call.
- Updating an agent publishes the change straight away, on the branch your agent targets or on main by default. It isn't staged as a draft.
- Generating media spends your ElevenLabs credits.
- Deleting an agent can't be undone, so review tool calls before you approve them.
- This isn't ElevenLabs' open-source MCP server, which runs locally and needs an API key.
