# Compliance Intelligence

> Lets your agent search compliance frameworks and controls, and see how much of one standard another already covers, with the reasoning.

TheArtOfService's hosted MCP server for its compliance knowledge graph: frameworks, their controls, and the mappings between them. Its headline question is a crosswalk: if you already hold one standard, how much of another does that evidence already cover, which controls are still gaps, and what reasoning (and which rejected claims) stand behind the number.

What you can do with it
- Search compliance frameworks by name, keyword or jurisdiction, and read their domains and controls
- Look up a control, the evidence auditors expect for it, and the controls it maps to in other frameworks
- Run a full-text search across controls and frameworks
- See which framework pairs have a released crosswalk, then ask how much of a target standard the frameworks you hold already cover
- Check the working: the reasoning and sources behind each mapping, and the mappings that were proposed and then refuted
- Search TheArtOfService's course catalogue for training on a standard, or on several standards together
- Get checkout links for a written crosswalk report, a single-document compliance review or a course; payment happens on TheArtOfService's checkout, not in the agent

How it connects
TheArtOfService hosts it at https://api.theartofservice.com/mcp. You can add it with no account: framework, control and search tools, the list of released crosswalks and the course catalogue answer without a key, within a small daily limit per IP address. The crosswalk tools (coverage, combined coverage, provenance and refuted claims) need a free TheArtOfService API key, sent as an Authorization: Bearer header, or pay per call in USDC over x402. Paid plans raise the limits. TheArtOfService documents setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex and VS Code.

Good to know
- TheArtOfService describes its platform as educational compliance tools, not legal, regulatory or professional compliance advice. It says AI-assisted output may contain errors, framework summaries are interpretations that don't replace the official standards, and you should consult qualified professionals for your own requirements.
- Mappings between frameworks are judgements, not text from either standard. TheArtOfService says its released crosswalks were judged by an AI model and challenged by a pass that argued against each claim, rather than read line by line by a practitioner; a practitioner review is sold separately.
- The server also carries TheArtOfService's funding-signals tools and, for signed-in consultants, its Adoption Evidence tools.
- The GitHub repository linked here is TheArtOfService's example skill that uses this server, not the server's own source.
