# Coach Watts

> Lets your agent review your Coach Watts workouts, plan sessions, log meals and wellness, and track your training load.

Coach Watts' own MCP server. Coach Watts is an endurance coaching platform for cyclists, runners and triathletes that brings training, recovery and nutrition data together from apps such as Strava, Garmin, Intervals.icu, WHOOP, Oura and Yazio. Its MCP server lets your agent work with that data from the chat, through your own Coach Watts account, instead of you copying workout details across.

What you can do with it
- Review recent workouts, search your history, and pull a session's analysis and data streams
- See your planned workouts, current plan and weekly availability, and create, move or change planned sessions
- Read wellness metrics such as sleep, HRV and recovery, and record wellness events
- Log meals and hydration, and read your nutrition log and Coach Watts' fueling suggestions
- Look at how your training load is trending, and where it is heading
- Go through Coach Watts' recommendations and accept or dismiss them
- Start longer jobs, such as a report, a data sync or a generated workout structure, and check on them

How it connects
Coach Watts hosts it at https://coachwatts.com/mcp. The first time your agent connects, your browser opens Coach Watts' sign-in and consent screen; you review the permissions it asks for and click Allow. No API key or app registration is needed. Coach Watts documents the setup for Cursor, and other agents that take a hosted MCP server with OAuth connect the same way. You can revoke access at any time under Settings → Apps in Coach Watts.

Good to know
- You need a Coach Watts account. It has a free plan; some tools depend on your plan and on which features are turned on for your account, such as nutrition.
- Coach Watts says it is not a doctor, medical service provider or nutritionist: its insights and coaching are for information and education only, and are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or nutritional counselling. Its fuel estimates are model-based, not lab measurements.
- Your agent can change and delete workouts, planned sessions and log entries. Coach Watts advises checking dates, zones, loads, nutrition amounts and anything that deletes data.
- Coach Watts is open source (Apache 2.0). A self-hosted copy serves its own /mcp address.
