# Claude SEO

> Agrici Daniel's community plugin for SEO audits in Claude Code: technical, content, schema, local and AI search, with a ranked fix plan.

Claude SEO is a free, open-source plugin by Agrici Daniel that runs SEO audits inside Claude Code. Give it a site and its specialist agents check it in parallel, then it hands you a plan sorted by impact, where each fix says what it's based on and how you'll know it worked. It's a community project, not from Anthropic.

What you can do with it
- Run a full site audit with /seo audit: it works out the type of site first (SaaS, local, e-commerce, publisher or agency) and gives an SEO health score from 0 to 100. /seo page goes deep on one page.
- Technical SEO: crawlability, indexing, robots.txt, redirects, sitemaps, images, hreflang and Core Web Vitals
- Content: E-E-A-T and thin-page checks, content briefs, SERP-based topic clusters and search experience reviews
- Structured data: find, validate and write Schema.org markup
- AI search: /seo geo scores how easy your pages are to quote and whether AI crawlers can reach them, and /seo agentic checks how well AI agents can use your site, llms.txt and WebMCP included
- Local and commerce: Google Business Profile, reviews and the map pack, backlink checks from Moz, Bing and Common Crawl data, and e-commerce pages
- Watch for regressions: /seo drift saves a baseline and compares later snapshots against it
- Google data: Search Console, PageSpeed, CrUX, GA4 and indexing through /seo google, with PDF reports

How it connects
- In Claude Code (1.0.33 or newer), run /plugin marketplace add AgriciDaniel/claude-seo, then /plugin install claude-seo@agricidaniel-claude-seo, then /seo setup. Setup makes its own Python environment (Python 3.11 to 3.14) and a headless browser without touching the rest of your system, and /seo doctor checks it.
- It works without API keys. For real field data, /seo google setup walks you through the free Google APIs with your own API key or service account, and the keys stay on your machine.
- Optional extensions bring in live data from services where you use your own account, such as DataForSEO, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, Profound and Bing Webmaster.

Good to know
- Reports are saved on your machine as Markdown, with PDF and JSON too. There's no telemetry.
- The pages it analyzes go to Claude like anything else in your session. No SEO vendor sees them unless you connect an extension.
- A full audit runs some agents on Opus and the rest on Sonnet, so it uses more of your Claude plan than a single-page check.
- Without Google API keys, Core Web Vitals are lab estimates and indexing is inferred from the page.
- The same marketplace has an optional seo-cockpit companion plugin, with a spend guard for paid SEO APIs.
