# beehiiv MCP

> Lets your agent read your beehiiv analytics and draft posts, segments and automations across your newsletters, podcasts and communities.

beehiiv's own hosted MCP server. Connect it to your agent and it works directly in your beehiiv workspace: it reads your posts, audience and performance, and drafts posts, segments and automations for you. Publishing, sending and turning automations on stay with you in beehiiv.

What you can do with it
- Posts: draft, edit and duplicate posts and post templates, and read post content, stats, clicks and comments
- Audience: manage subscriptions, segments, tags, custom fields, newsletter lists and signup flows
- Automations: build journeys, triggers and automation emails, including A/B variants
- Podcasts: create shows and episodes, upload audio, and read transcripts and episode stats
- Communities: create channels, publish and pin posts, moderate reports, and manage members and roles
- Monetisation: products, tiers, premium offers, paywalls, the ad network and the sponsor network
- Growth: recommendations, referral programs, polls and surveys
- Analytics: publication and website analytics, post and podcast stats, and earnings
- Website: page SEO titles and descriptions, and redirects

How it connects
beehiiv hosts it at https://mcp.beehiiv.com/mcp over Streamable HTTP. Sign-in is OAuth: the first time, your agent opens beehiiv in your browser, and you sign in and grant read and write access. There's no API key to copy. It's also a Gemini CLI extension, and beehiiv's plugin for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Grok Build points at the same server.

Good to know
- Every beehiiv plan includes MCP access. Free plans are read-only; creating and editing need a paid plan.
- MCP has to be on for your workspace (Settings, then Workspace, then MCP). Some tool groups depend on your plan and workspace settings.
- It reaches only what your own beehiiv role can see. Stripe billing and payment data aren't available through it.
- Publishing or scheduling posts and activating automations stay in the beehiiv app.
- Each connection is tied to one workspace. To connect several, add the address again with a different ?account= value for each one.
- Installed as a plugin or extension, it also brings beehiiv's skills (performance and revenue reports, unsubscribe spikes, media kits, segments, post edits, upgrade campaigns and automation drop-off) to agents that support Agent Skills.
