# Antislop

> A rulebook that stops your coding agent shipping generic AI-looking UI, copy and code comments, checked before anything ships.

Antislop is a community rulebook for AI coding agents by miqdadbadjuber. It's a filter, not a style guide: it prescribes no colors, fonts or layouts, and instead rejects the generic patterns that make agent output look machine-made, from invented stats and hype copy to decorative effects with no purpose and comments that restate the code. Visual direction stays yours, through your own DESIGN.md.

What its skills teach your agent
- antislop: the core filter, with mandatory rules in three tiers, a liveliness toolkit so results come out alive rather than merely clean, and a Delivery Gate pass/fail report before anything ships
- antislop-ui: layout, color, components, decoration, motion and structure
- antislop-copywriting: headlines, calls to action, tone, fake stats, AI-sounding writing and Markdown hygiene
- antislop-human: contrast, keyboard, focus and states, with a contrast checker
- antislop-layoutmobile: reflow across screen widths, breakpoints, grids, overflow and tap targets
- antislop-code: which AI-slop comments to remove and which to keep, without touching the code itself

How it works
- During mode guides the work as it's built and closes with the Delivery Gate report. After mode audits work that already exists: a numbered list of findings, you approve which to fix, then a follow-up report.
- By default it asks which mode at the start of each session; npx antislop-ai --mode during (or after) saves a preference.
- The Claude Code plugin also starts a small local contrast server with one tool, check_contrast, that computes the WCAG ratio between two colors.

How to install it
- In Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add https://github.com/miqdadbadjuber/anti-slop, then /plugin install antislop@anti-slop.
- Or run npx antislop-ai, which asks which skills, where and for which agents, or npx skills add miqdadbadjuber/anti-slop.
- The maker also documents installs for Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cline and more.

Good to know
- It's a community project, MIT-licensed. The npm package is antislop-ai; the name antislop on npm belongs to a different package.
- For UI you mean to ship, it expects a DESIGN.md with your visual direction; without one, it labels the result a draft.
