# Human Resources

> Anthropic's HR playbook for Claude: draft offers, plan onboarding, structure reviews, answer policy questions and benchmark pay.

Anthropic's human resources plugin, one of its knowledge-work plugins. It's built mainly for Cowork, Anthropic's desktop agent, and also works in Claude Code. Its skills give Claude a people team's way of working across recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, policy questions and compensation, and it comes with connectors for chat and your knowledge base.

What you can do with it
- Draft an offer letter with the full compensation package, terms, a benefits summary and notes for the hiring manager
- Build an onboarding plan: pre-start tasks, a Day 1 schedule, the first week and 30/60/90-day goals
- Structure performance reviews: a self-assessment template, a manager review for one person, or calibration prep for a team
- Answer policy questions in plain language, quoting and citing your handbook
- Benchmark pay by role, level and location, check where people sit in their bands and model equity grants
- Produce headcount, attrition, diversity or org health reports from your HR data
- Plan headcount and team structure, design structured interviews with scorecards, and track the recruiting pipeline

Connectors it bundles
- Slack, for announcements and candidate coordination
- Notion and Atlassian (Confluence), as the knowledge base for handbooks and policy docs
It also has empty Google Calendar and Gmail entries for you to fill in. Its skills are written for categories rather than products, so an HRIS (such as Workday, BambooHR, Rippling or Gusto), an ATS (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable) or a compensation data source (such as Pave, Radford or Levels.fyi) is used once you connect its MCP server.

How to install it
In Claude Code, run claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins, then claude plugin install human-resources@knowledge-work-plugins. Its skills run as /draft-offer, /onboarding, /performance-review, /policy-lookup, /comp-analysis and /people-report, and recruiting-pipeline, org-planning and interview-prep come in when they're relevant.

Good to know
- Everything works on its own: give it the details, paste your handbook or upload a CSV. Connected tools fill in the data for you.
- Each connector signs in with your own account for that service.
- A settings.local.json file can hold your company, headquarters, benefits and compensation defaults; without one, it asks.
- Offer letters, reviews and reports come back as drafts for you to check. For legal or compliance questions, it points you to HR or legal.
