# Amplitude Analytics Skills

> Amplitude's analytics skills: explain charts, review dashboards, analyze experiments, theme feedback and build charts and dashboards.

Amplitude's own plugin of analytics skills for agents. The skills work through Amplitude's hosted MCP server, which the plugin adds, to analyze your charts, dashboards, experiments and customer feedback, and to build charts and dashboards from a plain-language description. It's one of the plugins in Amplitude's builder-skills marketplace.

What its skills do
- Explain a chart: trends, anomalies and the likely drivers behind a spike or drop
- Review a dashboard end to end and surface the biggest concerns, using feedback trends to explain changes
- Design A/B tests, analyze running or finished experiments, and help decide whether to ship

How it connects
The plugin includes Amplitude's MCP server (https://mcp.amplitude.com/mcp). It asks you to sign in to Amplitude the first time and only reaches projects you can already see. Two skills draw on other tools as well: the churn and lost-deal analysis reads your CRM, and support feedback prioritization pulls Intercom tickets and Slack messages, adds CRM data and saves its report to Drive, so they need those connected too.

How to install it
In Claude Code, run claude plugin marketplace add amplitude/builder-skills, then claude plugin install analytics-skills@builder-skills. Add --scope project to both to install it for one repository only.

Good to know
- Building charts, dashboards and experiments saves them to your Amplitude workspace; the analysis skills only read.
- The plugin points at Amplitude's US address. Amplitude runs a separate MCP address for data in its EU region (https://mcp.eu.amplitude.com/mcp).
