# Grok Bot

> xAI’s AI teammates that sign in to your tools and finish the work

Grok Bot gives you Bots: AI teammates with names, jobs and memory that you message from your desktop or phone. Each works on a persistent cloud computer with a browser, files and a terminal, so work continues while your laptop is closed, and it comes back when something needs your approval. It can save a workflow you show it as a skill and run it on a schedule as a routine.

What you can add
- Apps from Connect apps in the sidebar, such as Gmail, Notion and Slack. They're account-wide, so every Bot you run can use them.
- Your own MCP servers, by their address. There's no settings form: ask your Bot in chat to add the server, and it confirms the details and sets it up. Its tools are ready from your next message.

How it connects
Bots run in the cloud, so an MCP server needs a public https:// address. A server that only runs on your own computer can't be reached. App sign-ins stay off the Bot's computer, and a team admin can turn apps off for a team.
