Grok is xAI's AI assistant on the web at grok.com, in the iOS and Android apps, and on X. It answers with real-time information from the web and X, makes documents, decks and spreadsheets, and remembers how you like things done through skills you build in conversation.

What you can add
- Custom MCP connectors: any MCP server by its address, at grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom. Grok finds the server's tools and uses them in your chats. Connectors are on every plan; on Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin provisions them first.
- Connectors from its catalog, such as Gmail, Google Drive, GitHub, Linear and Notion, with one sign-in.

How it connects
Grok reaches MCP servers from xAI's cloud, so a server needs a public address. A server that only runs on your own computer needs a tunnel.
